Connecting fans at the Mercedes Benz Stadium and delivering a world-class communication experience across a converged fiber network.

Atlanta's own world-class sports and entertainment facility, the official stadium of the NFL Atlanta Falcons and MLS Atlanta United. With 71,000 seats (potential expandable capacity to 80,000 seats) delivering the best mobile experience to fans at every event is the top priority.

M-Communications worked directly with a major Carrier over 2 years and then with IBM on behalf of stadium owner, AMB Group to deliver a highly connected mobile experience across 2,000,000 sq. ft for the 2019 Superbowl, fans of Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United teams as well as daily visitors at stadium events.

Scope of Work

  • 2017: major Carrier appointed M-Communications to build their 48 Sector BTS network infrastructure supporting the 65 zone Stadium DAS.

  • 2018/19: major Carrier appointed M-Communications to increase their capacity within the stadium to 118 Stadium DAS Zones, 16 DRAN zones, 10 4G CRAN zones and 3 5G CRAN zones. We supported the DAS corrective action and DAS expansion to back the new stadium zones through AT&T, on behalf of IBM and AMB. This network was installed for the 2019 Super Bowl.
